ZippCards
ZippCards are issued in Rwanda by the Bank of Kigali and are available at all Bank of Kigali branches as well as Retail Merchants displaying the Zipp acceptance sign.

The ZippCard is a prepaid debit card which does not require a bank account or credit check and is available to all, meaning those currently excluded by the traditional banks now have access to financial services and the ability to pay for goods and services with a card.

Owning a ZippCard brings;

• The Security of not holding funds in cash
• Cashback on all card purchases at participating merchants
• Instant, low cost card to card transfers for domestic & international remittances
• Entry level banking account which could build a credit rating
• Access to low cost micro-finance and micro-savings products

CFSR is looking to work with organisations throughout Rwanda to facilitate the adoption of ZippCards to the widest possible audience.
Merchants
Sell ZippCards to your customers. Take a CFSR POS Terminal to process transactions using ZippCards and build an additional revenue stream.
Employers
Issue your unbanked employees with ZippCards in order to pay their Salary direct to their card
NGOs
Remove the risk and create audit trails for cash disbursement and spending by using ZippCards
MFIs
